(LOCAL TIME) BACKGROUNDThe Ministry of the Environment (MMA) is in charge of both the design and application of policies, plans and programs in environmental matters, as well as the promotion of sustainable development, the integrity of environmental policy and its regulatory regulation (DS N 8). / 2010 MMA).
