Description: The new building arises on the campus of the TU Dresden in the immediate vicinity of the Institute Building of Computer Science. Both office, meeting and assembly rooms as well as in the basement of server rooms and technology are provided.
The spaces are used by the German Center for Aerospace (DLR) of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The building has outer dimensions of 43 x 15 m and due to the sloping terrain a height between 13 and 16 m. It is divided into 6 floor places (basement, pedestal floor, ground floor, 1st 3rd floor).
The structural construction consists of a jointless skeleton construction with flat blankets in extra concrete construction. The supporting startup takes place on an elastically embedded bottom plate.
The closed facade areas of the hole facade receive a prehedged, ventilated façade made of non-metallic disk material with shiny optics.
