geotechnical and environmental consulting services

for smh emergency generator fuel tanks replacement project

fraser health intends to extend the contract with wsp canada inc. for continued geotechnical and environmental consulting services for the surrey memorial hospital emergency generator fuel tanks replacement project.

the maximum value of this contract will be $95, 000 plus tax, including all extensions. fraser health has chosen not to complete a request for proposal (rfp) process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:



. project timelines have been extended and continuity of service is required to complete all deliverables for planning and project approvals.



. completion of engineering consulting services without interruption and with no impact to tight project schedule.



. extensive and detailed knowledge of the current clinical, operational, site conditions, and facilities context related to the surrey memorial hospital.



. specific knowledge of the service planning, functional programming, schematic design, costing and risk/procurement analysis work completed to date.



. close working relationship with the fh stakeholder groups and project sponsors.



. prequalified engineering firm by lower mainland facilities management



. maintains sufficient general liability insurance coverage and errors and omissions liability insurance coverage
