Gc jobs transformation wants your input.
Join us for an industry event
the public service commission in collaboration with public services and procurement canada - procurement branch, is hosting an industry event in gatineau on march 13th 2020 at 9:00am.
The gc jobs transformation team is soliciting interest for the replacement of the current government of canada recruitment platform. The objectives of this event are to present the scope of the work for the gc jobs transformation project, its objectives and approach. Industry will also have the opportunity to understand our agile procurement process (app).
The gc jobs transformation project aims to provide an inclusive, modern, user-centric recruiting solution that attracts talent and meets the evolving needs of our users. The current public service resourcing system (psrs) is not sustainable over the long-term. Its aging technology no longer reflects industry standards and does not fully support recruitment in a digital world. It cannot adequately support flexible staffing and ensure quality and timely hires in a marketplace of intense competition for top talent and specialized skills. The future state will consist of a solution that supports the following key functions: preparing for resourcing, attracting job seekers, conducting assessment, undertaking selection, oversight and reporting functions, and system support.
The gc jobs transformation industry event will:

provide industry with information on how best to respond to the app;
provide industry with a view of the current recruitment landscape in the government of canada; and
respond to questions and provide feedback.
How to participate
participation is intended for members of industry as the primary audience. Seating is limited so registration will be done on a first-come, first-served basis with participation also possible via webex.
