Tender are invited for Work includes all civil, structural and supporting work necessary for the preparation of paving an area of 51.2m x 9m x 15cm (168' x 29.5' x 5.9") for the vehicle search pit, an area of 61m x 11.5m x 15cm (200.13' x 38' x 5.9") for the ECP driveway, and an area 26.5m x 13.5m x 15cm (87' x 44.29' x 5.9") for a driveway to enter the vehicle search pit from the main road. For preparation of the pavement, the three areas will require a Sub-base. The areas will be excavated approximately 69.12 cubic meters for the vehicle search pit, 105.225 cubic meters for the ECP driveway, and 53.7 cubic meters for the search pit entrance. At the end of the search pit driveway, a Large Steel Security Gate must be installed, to secure the opening. After excavation, all three areas will be backfilled with compacted laterite to complete the sub-bases. The search pit will enter through the existing HESCO wall from the road at a 45 degree angle. Once through the wall it will make another 45 degree angle to continue straight, and parallel with the main road. The pavement for the search pit must have the integrity to be capable of supporting multi axle vehicles weighing 40, 000 kilograms (88184.905 lbs).
