Description
The project is for construction of two (2) Earth Covered Magazines (ECM) and a Production Area that will include a Munitions Assembly Conveyor (MAC) shelter to support United States and Australian military joint training activities at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Tindal, Northern Tettitory Australia. The project will also require that a new electrical service with unit substation be brought to the site from existing substation #32. A new telecommunication service will be extended from Bldg. 452 to the site. The Building Code of Australia and Manual of Fire Protection will be applied for fire protection requirements to ensure local fire services can utilize fire protection infrastructure. The work will also include two (2) pre-priced options: one (1) freestanding structure steel MAC shelter and (2) provisions, design, installation, testing, and associated training for the Electrical Security System equipment necessary for the facility. In accordance with FAR 52.217-7 Option for Increased Quantity Separately Priced Line Item, the Government may exercise the options by written notice to the Contractor within 360 days of contract award. This project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per UFC 4-010-01. The solicitation (if any) and resulting contract (if any) will be subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and supplemental U.S. Department of Defense and Agency Acquisition Regulations.
