He queensland government is inviting expressions of interest from a suitably qualified information technology partner whose role would be to aggregate fuel price data from fuel retailers, validate it for accuracy and make it available through an application programming interface (api) to consumer-facing comparison services and other users.
As part of this expression of interest process the queensland government is looking for interested suppliers to provide proposals and case studies that demonstrate capabilities as outlined in section 3.2.selected shortlisted suppliers will be invited to submit their a further, more detailed response as part of a subsequent invitation to offer process.
This two phase process is intended discover market interest, market structures, industry partnerships, and market creativity and innovation in first phase responses while providing the necessary and comprehensive rigour in the assessment of proposals and their technical and other capabilities through the second phase.
