Synopsis: The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center - Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (ERDC-CERL) in Champaign, IL has a requirement for onsite training for the ZeroBase designed and installed battery backup system installed at Fort Hood. Training on the system is required for personnel to fully understand the operation, maintenance and design of the system to be able to utilize it in the research efforts being performed onsite.ERDC-CERL intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Zerobase Energy, LLC in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).Market research indicates that Zerobase Energy, LLC is the only source for this requirement because Zerobase designed and built a 32kWh Emergency Lithium Battery Backup Power System at Fort Hood. Only the designer and installer can provide the needed training on this customized system. This is not a small business set aside.
