Tender Details

This contract provides for the vegetation resources inventory (vri) photo interpretation quality assurance of the fort st. James central-north vri within the stuart nechako natural resource district in the province of british columbia. The contractor will provide quality assurance services concurrently with completion of each stage of the vri photo interpretation for the fort st james central-north vri project. The references to the guiding documents for this qa contract can be found in the references section of the specimen schedule a. The contract area is approximately 787, 355 hectares in size. Up to a total of 56.32 full map sheet equivalents (fme s) will be quality assured under this contract. Contract work area is identified in "schedule a".the qa contractor will assume overall responsibility for carrying out all aspects of the vri quality assurance process and ensure that all the required deliverables are submitted to the province in the formats and timeframes required by vri procedures and this contract document. This includes progressive data submission for all stages of the project for quality assurance and final deliverables. The qa contractor is responsible for carrying out quality assurance on the following stages of the photo interpretation and digital map production project:. Delineation . Data source transfer. Field calibration. Integration of results data. Attribute estimationsubcontracting will not be permitted.all work under this contract must be completed by a vri certified photo interpreter in accordance with the qualifications set out in the conditions of tender (cot).the completion dates for the work in the tender offer form must be met. The contract award will be based on the lowest, compliant bid and the capable contractor whose timetable, in the sole opinion of the ministry, satisfies the ministry s business needs.all costs, excluding helicopter access costs, will be included in the total cost tendered for the project. The ministry will be responsible for booking and payment of helicopter costs for the qa project.a progressive delivery schedule will be determined at the fort st james central-north vri project pre-work meeting. This schedule will show systematic delivery throughout the project. Our obligation to pay money to you is subject to the financial administration act, which makes that obligation subject to an appropriation being available in the fiscal year of the province during which payment becomes due. The contractor will not commence any work past march 31st of any year without the ministry s approval and written notice to commence work.
