Description :
The South Australian Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM) on behalf of the Emergency Services Sector (ESS) consisting of the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS), South Australian Country Fire Service (SACFS) and South Australian State Emergency Service (SES) seeks to engage up to four (4) Suppliers for the supply of firefighting helmets, who will:
MFS & CFS: Supply new structural helmets and associated accessories that are ‘fit for purpose- for structural firefighting operations. The new structural helmets must be manufactured in accordance with the Australian/New Zealand Standard 4067:2012 - Protective helmets for structural firefighting;
CFS: Supply new rural (wildland) helmets and associated accessories that is manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 1801:1997 - Type three (3) for occupational protective helmets;
MFS: Supply new multipurpose rescue/rural (wildland) helmets and associated accessories that is manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 1801:1997 - Type three (3) for occupational protective helmets; and
SES: Supply new general-purpose rescue helmets and associated accessories that is manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 1801:1997 - Type one (1) and type two (2) for occupational protective helmets.
