Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to enter into a sole source contract with S&P Global, 55 Water Street, New York, NY, 10041 for access to financial data, detailed analysis, and news covering the U.S. banking sector and foreign banking organizations. The OCC currently does not have access to a database that provides annual and quarterly financial accounts for non-U.S. banks. S&P Global Market Intelligence provides market data (e.g., pricing of bank securities and CDS), other databases do not provide this information. Only S&P Global Market Intelligence connects the earnings data to an underlying database of bank financials so it can be analyzed and aggregated earlier than other sources. This database will provide 50 OCC employees with unlimited access.

The base period of performance is from August 20, 2020 through August 19, 2021, with options for four 12-month periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, and no solicitation documents are available. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement, which is solely at the discretion of the OCC. Any written response should include full costing information, as well as descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capacity to meet the requirement.
