1. The Republic of Senegal has received from the African Development Bank (ADB) the loans referred to above for the co-financing of the Value Added Water Development Project (PROVALE -CV / PNDIL)

2. The overall objective of this project is to contribute to achieving strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth and to improving the living conditions of rural populations. Specifically, the project aims to sustainably increase agricultural production, employment and income in rural areas through the mobilization of surface water and groundwater .

3. The project comprises the following three components:

ü Modernization and development of agricultural infrastructure ;

ü Development of youth value chains and agricultural entrepreneurship ;

ü Project Management.

4. Procurement methods for the works, goods and services financed from the loan are indicated below.
