The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), within the framework of Project 92856 "Promoting sustainable and resilient territories in landscapes of the central volcanic chain in Guatemala", issues this request for information (in English "Request for Information -RFI - ") of Civil Society Organization -OSC- (committees, cooperatives, academic entitiesautonomous orprivate, foundations, associations) and Non-Governmental Organization -ONG-, national and / or international, for possible association with UNDP in the delivery of Project results, for which it requires knowledge and experience of CSOs / NGOs in one or more of the following areas: Sustainable land management: soil conservation andwater in agricultural and agroforestryproduction processes and / or nurseries of fruit plants, development of productive activities (agricultural and forestry). Sustainable forest management: sustainable forest management; reforestation; forest restoration; energy forests; management plans; forest incentives and / or forest nurseries. Biodiversity: forest protectionthrough the legal management for registration of municipal regional parks and private natural reserves and / or ecological restoration, biological monitoring with specialization in mammals, birds and amphibians; and Capacity building (continuous programs): good agricultural practices, good manufacturing practices, good beekeeping practices and good forest practicesales; sustainable land and forest management; sustainable use of biodiversity; adaptation and mitigation to climate change; access to markets, agribusiness and certifications; and / or environmental policies and regulations, natural resources and fiscal aspects.
