Tenders are invited for the Execution of Ministry of Defence Capital Projects under the 2019 Capital Appropriation
1. The Ministry of Defence wishes to draw the attention of all interested bidders and the public to an earlier advertisement published in the Federal Tenders Journal Daily Trust and the Punch Newspapers of 7th October, 2019 on Invitation to Tender for the Execution of the Ministry of Defence Capital Projects under the 2019 Capital Appropriation.
2. The initial deadline for submission for Category C Invitation for Pre-Qualification (Works) and Category D Invitation for Expression of Interest (Consultancy Services) was earlier extended from Monday, 28th October, 2019 to Monday, 11th November, 2019, while Categories A- Invitation to Tender (Works) and B – Invitation to Tender (Goods) remained the same (18th November, 2019) to allow for wider participation. However, due to the un-envisaged public holiday and other pressing Ministry’s activities, the bids opening for Category C and Category D could not take place.
3. In view of the above, the deadline for submission of bids for all Categories has again been extended as follows:
Category A&B: 12:00 noon, on Monday, 25th November, 2019
Category C&D: 12:00 noon on Monday, 18th November, 2019
4. The Venue for opening of the Bids is as follows:
Venue: Dr. Ezekiel Oyemomi Auditorium, Ship House, Ministry of Defence, Area 10, Garki, Abuja
5. Companies or their representatives, Civil Societies, NGOs, Professional Bodies and members of the public are invited to witness the Bid Opening Exercise.
