Tender Details

Purpose:

The Ministry of Education (MOE) wish to receive proposals from community partners, iwi, employers, industry groups, the ITO sector, vocational education providers, and other organisations / agencies that wish to run one or more events that bring together young people, their families and wh?nau with employers and industries.



Objective:

Community partners, employers, industry groups, the ITO sector, vocational education providers, and other agencies will organise and run one or more events, between 1 January 2020 and 30 June 2021, which showcase vocational careers and pathways.

In total we will support up to 140 additional speed meets type events (similar to Got a Trade? Got it Made!) along with careers expos. These events will be focused on a range of strategically important sectors including construction and infrastructure, primary industries, engineering (including automotive), social and community services, tourism, retail and hospitality, and the technology and creative sectors.
