Description: The approximately 5.6 ha site of the former Erich-Kästner Comprehensive School on the corner of Markstraße and Stiepeler Str. In Bochum-Querenburg is to be ready for construction in order to subsequently build a residential and commercial area (sub-area B-Plan 862).
In particular, in the 1980s, the first mining and drilling protection of the areas relevant to the impact on the school premises took place. It was recently determined in the course of a preliminary investigation that these renovation measures - after the Erich Kästner Comprehensive School was dismantled in 2016 - were incomplete and, moreover, that they were not sufficient for the proposed new building without restrictions.
