This is a source sought announcement for written information and invitation to meet with epa region 9 staff only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this notice.
In preparation for a future procurement, the environmental protection agency (epa) region 9 is conducting market research to determine the number and types of small or large business concerns (including sdb, hubzone, 8(a), wosb, sdvosb) capable of performing the tasks listed in the draft statement of work for epa signal hill emergency warehouse, four (4) analog telephone line services (see attachment).
The requirement is for backup telephone lines are needed to supplement our voice over internet (voip) gateway and for use during a power outage. This facility is the mobilization center for emergency operations in southern california. The analog lines must not require power for operation. The analog lines would allow our emergency responders to continue operations and to place and receive calls.
The applicable naics code is 517311 with a size limitation of 1, 500 employees according to the small business administration (www.sba.gov). Interested firms that meet the small business size standard may submit a capability statement in response to this announcement. When submitting a capability statement, interested firms must demonstrate the capability and capacity to perform the work described in the draft statement of work as it relates to enforcement support services. As part of the demonstration of capacity, firms should include information regarding the size and scope of previous efforts pertaining to enforcement support services.
Interested firms must also demonstrate that they have the necessary personnel with the requisite experience, labor, materials, services, equipment, and facilities to support the efforts delineated in the draft sow.
