The Council is exploring future use, funding and ownership options in relation to several Council-owned heritage buildings for which a future use has yet to be determined.



This is a rare opportunity for suitable parties to express an interest in making the Old Municipal Chambers a big part of their lives.



You might be a commercial entity interested in leasing and running your business out of all or part of this unique building? Maybe you're a charitable trust or community group wishing to occupy the building? Or maybe you wish to own the building? You may be able to partially/fully fund its repair/restoration perhaps in exchange for favourable lease terms, ownership or a partnership arrangement with the Council?



We welcome all workable proposals that respect the building's heritage values and will help to see it repaired/restored and reused soon.
