Description : support the Regional office for Africa to integrate various functionalities into the Tool for African region Results. The consultants will be expected to meet the different milestones setup and agreed upon between themselves and the PBM team as these will be set in accordance with regional and/or global timelines related to programme management in the 2020 calendar year.

The successful bidder's inception report should provide a milestones plan and proposed dates and duration for on-site visits and where possible what will need to be in place for the visits to eb successful.

PBM favours a phased approach to the software development, such that at predetermined dates, it will be possible to show an incomplete tool to key stakeholders for their inputs and/or to assure them of the impending deployment.

An agile approach to software development is proposed as some requirements will evolve during the course of the development.

WHO requirement is to have the tool developed in a language that will be easy to support after deployment. Towards that end, as most of WHO be-spoke software comes from the Microsoft stable, it is highly preferable that the enhanced tool uses this technology both for the interface (front-end) and database (back-end)
