The Government of Guyana has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of the Energy Matrix Diversification and Strengthening of the Department of Energy (EMISDE), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Installation, Commissioning and Turn-key Delivery of Solar PV Power Plants including Battery Energy Storage Systems for the Hinterland at Bartica and Lethem in two Lots.
