Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Energy Insurance Services.

Legal entities, domestic Iraqi and foreign companies having experience of implementation of similar by nature to the subject of the Tender projects and which are allowed, by the legislation of the Republic of Iraq and/or by their country of registration, to perform works in the Republic of Iraq may participate in the Tender.
In order to be eligible to be awarded the Contract, the Bidders shall meet the following minimal qualification criteria:
Bidder must be properly/sufficiently licensed to provide insurance services in Iraq;
Bidder shall accept the key terms and conditions of the Draft Contract;
Bidder must re insure not less than 99% of risk;
Bidder must be able to furnish the latest annual financial report which should not be dated earlier than
Y 2016;
Bidder must have a coordinating office in Baghdad, Iraq in order to ensure delay-free communications
exchange between the Bidder and the Operator,
Bidder`s Establishing Capital shall not be less than IQD 2 bin;
Fronting (Ceding) Commission must not exceed 5% of reinsurance premium.

Bids must conform to the requirements of the Tender Documentation. The Operator reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to cancel the bidding process and reject all bids, at any time prior to award of contract, without incurring any liability towards any bidder or bidders, or any obligations to inform any bidder or bidders of the grounds for such actions.
