This notice constitutes an update to the emergent ii broad agency announcement (baa) for the acquisition of research and development in accordance with federal acquisition regulation (far) 35.016, broad agency announcement. This baa update is for the acquisition of applied research and that part of development not related to the development of a specific system or hardware procurement. This update to the existing dla emergent baa continues to fulfill dla`s need for scientific study and experimentation directed toward advancing the state-of-the-art or increasing knowledge or understanding in areas of interest not anticipated by dla`s annual r&d program planning and development processes. The purpose of this baa update is to change out of date points of contact and revise areas of interest.
