Tenders are invited for Electrification of 70 Localities in the Urban and Rural Communities of Say, Kollo, Torodi, Makalondi, Tamou, N`dounga, Liboré, Ouro, Ny 5 and Kouré in the Regions of Tillabéri and Niamey.

1. The invitation to tender follows the general notice of acquisition for this project which was published on

UNDB online, on the African Development Bank group website.

2. The Republic of Niger has received funding from the African Development Bank in various currencies and from the European Union to finance the Nigeria - Niger - Benin - Burkina Faso Interconnection Project which it has passed on to the Nigerian Electricity Company

(Nigelec). It is planned that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible regulations forming part of the market for the 2 nd phase of rural electrification works on the route of the interconnection line.

The evaluation will be done in batches. The allocation will be made by lot or group of lots according to the most advantageous combination for the Customer.

The turnaround time is sixteen (16) months per lot. These deadlines cannot be cumulated in the event of the award of more than one lot to a single tenderer.

To be awarded several lots, a tenderer must have fulfilled the cumulative qualification conditions for these lots.
