Description : Richmond Hospital has existing isolation rooms in the South Tower on the ground, second and third floors, which are used to care for patients with contagious or airborne risks that can affect other areas of the hospital. Following an internal assessment, opportunities were identified to upgrade the HVAC system controls supporting these isolation rooms, including sensors, panels and passageways and other equipment. Only Mechanical firms prequalified by the Authority for acute care projects greater than $100K may respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from a firm not already prequalified acute care Projects greater than $100K. Sub-Consulting firms (including Architectural, Electrical, Structural, Civil and Geotechnical if required) shall be selected from the Authority-s Pre-qualified Engineers list.
