Tenders are invited for Drilling of Human-Powered Drinking Water in 16 Public Primary Schools in the Far North and North Regions of the Republic of Cameroon.

1. Object
The Minister of Basic Education, Project Owner requests sealed offers from eligible bidders who meet the qualifications required for the work of drilling human-powered drinking water in 16 primary schools in the regions of the Far North and North in the Republic of Cameroon.

2. Delivery time
The period of construction work is eight (08) months from the date of notification of the service order to start the work.

3. Participation and origin
The call for tenders procedure will be National Call for Tenders reserved for Member Countries of the BIsD (AON / PM) as defined in the Directives for the acquisition of Goods, Works and Related Services within the framework of Projects financed by the BIsD, May 2009 and revised in February 2012, (the "Guidelines"), and open to all bidders from eligible countries as defined in the Guidelines. Prospective candidates are also invited to read Clauses 1.18 to 1.21 of these Directives concerning the rules of the BId relating to conflicts of interest.

4. Financing
The Government of the Republic of Cameroon has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank (BIsD) to finance the School Support Project in Priority Education Zones (PASZEP), and intends to use part of this funding for make payments under the contract.

6. Acquisition of the file
The Tender Documents in French can be purchased by any interested Bidder by making a written request to the address below for a non-refundable payment of one hundred thousand (100, 000) CFA Francs . The amount will be payable to the ARMP Special Assignment Account No. 335988 opened with the International Bank of Cameroon for Savings and Credit (BICEC) . The tender dossier will be sent by deposit to the secretariat of the PASZEP Project Management Unit .

7. Submission of tenders
Offers must be delivered to the address below on 02/18/2020 no later than 11 a.m. The submission of tenders by electronic means will not be authorized. Any offer arriving after the deadline for submission of offers will be rejected.

8. Provisional security
Offers must be accompanied by an Offer Guarantee, for an amount of: two million five hundred sixty thousand (2, 560, 000) CFA francs.

9. Opening of bids
The tenders will be opened in the presence of the representatives of the tenderers and of the persons present at the meeting room of the PASEP Management Unit mentioned below on 18 02/2020 at 11:20 am .
