DoDEA-Puerto Rico Daily Commute and Special Needs Student Transportation Service - Puerto Rico



REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)-SOURCES SOUGHT



Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Procurement Office is currently conducting market research to identify companies capable of and qualified to provide Student Transportation Bus Safety Aide (Special Needs) and Bus Attendant Services, in support of DoDEA-s school populations in Puerto Rico Community Schools: Antilles Elementary School, Antilles Middle School, and Antilles High School at Fort Buchanan in San Juan, PR, and Ramey Unit School, located in Aguadilla, PR.



Prospective contractor(s) shall provide all personnel for Transportation Safety Attendants and Transportation Special Education (SPED) Aides services, necessary to safely transport DoDEA students and other authorized individuals. This service may require specialized equipment to provide transportation for a student with disabilities. All services shall follow all the Federal, State, and Department of Defense requirements for student transportation. School buses will be provided by the government in support of this contract.



The period of performance for these services, with an anticipated start date of 1 August 2023, will include a base period with four (4) 12-month option periods.



This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for conducting market research and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), and does not obligate the Government to any current or future commitments. The Government will not pay/reimburse any costs or charges resulting from contractors- responses to this RFI.
