The queensland government represented by the department of transport and main roads (tmr) is inviting industry participants to participate in a market sounding process in relation to tmr's intention to procure services for the digital messaging network project (dmn project) as specified in section 2 - project background.



The key objectives of the market sounding process are for tmr to:



gauge market interest in the dmn project;



better understand the commercial and operating models that may be applied to the dmn project;



clarify market expectations in terms of the dmn project, including the project scale, commercial viability and achievability of tmr's project objectives; and



obtain market input to assist with finalising the procurement model



the process does not constitute an invitation to offer and is only a market sounding exercise.
