this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in far sub part 12.6-streamlined procedures fir evaluation and solicitation for commercial items-as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of far 13.5, simplified procedures for certain commercial items.
This solicitation is a request for quotation (rfq). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through federal acquisition circular (fac) 2005-101/10-26-2018.
The national institute for standards and technology (nist) radio frequency fields group requires a requirement for a dual antenna gps receiver and rover/base. This dual antenna gps receiver and rover/base with integrated inertial navigation and radio system to support the nist channel sounding field measurement program. To satisfy 5g requirements, this system must be able to measure accurate headings, velocity, and location data in an urban environment. The dual antenna gps receiver and rover/base shall meet the technical and performance requirements in accordance with the specifications associated with this requirement.
This request for quotation (rfq) is conducted under the authority of far part 13, simplified acquisition procedures with a naics code of 334511-search, detection, navigation, guidance, aeronautical, and nautical system and instrument manufacturing with a size standard of 1250. This acquisition is full and open. Nist anticipates, to award a single, firm-fixed price purchase order.
