GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

ORSHA WASTEWATER PROJECT

Vitebsk Regional Communal Unitary Enterprise of Water Supply and Sewerage System «Vitebskoblvodokanal» intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “EBRD” or “Bank”) and an investment grant from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency ( “Sida”) for Orsha Wastewater Project (the “Project”). The Project is aimed at reconstruction and modernisation of the existing wastewater treatment facilities in the City of Orsha to ensure compliance with the national and EU standards and HELCOM recommendations for effluent quality treatment. The Project has been signed under the EBRD Belarus Water Sector Framework, Phase 2.

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the Q1 of 2020.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the EBRD loan and Sida grant will be subject to the Bank`s Procurement Policies and Rules Rev. November 2017 (http://www.ebrd.com/work-with-us/procurement/policies-and-rules.html) and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the EBRD loan and Sida grant will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser`s country.
