INVITATION TO TENDER
DESIGN/BUILD CONTRACTOR FOR BUILDING AND CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS FOR
SHECKLES HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PHASE 2, CLARENDON - BID# 2018-10-30/TC-01

The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites qualified National Contracts Commission (NCC) contractors to submit tenders to complete designs and undertake all construction relating to an approximately 550 housing lot sub-division on lands located in Sheckles Housing Development, Clarendon.

LOCATION:
The property is located approximately 4 km north-north-west along Sheckles Drive, from the Four Paths intersection.

SCOPE OF WORKS:
The contractor will be required to undertake works, which includes the:
? Design the houses and infrastructure for the development ;
? Obtain the approvals from the relevant agencies for all related designs
? Construct the housing units and undertake associated infrastructure works.
? Handover infrastructure to the relevant agencies.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Tenderers must provide:
? Evidence of tax compliance.
? A copy of a valid National Contracts Commission (NCC) registration certificate with a Grade 1 rating in the categories of Building
Construction AND Civil Engineering Works.

N.B: A Tender bond stamped by the Commissioner of Stamp Duty in the amount of JA$10, 000, 000.00 is required.

COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:
Tender documents can be collected from the Procurement Unit, at NHT's Head Office, The Michael Manley Building, 4 Park Boulevard, Kingston 5, on the payment of a non-refundable fee of $3, 500.00 (payable in cash or Manager's Cheque at the NHT Cashier Head Office). Documents will be made available from Monday, November 26, 2018, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

NB: Pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Procurement & Stores Meeting Room.

Note: "Failure to directly purchase the Tender/Bid Documents from the Procuring Entity will result in ineligibility/non-responsiveness of that bid from participating in the procurement process."

RETURN OF DOCUMENTS:
Sealed bids are to be placed in the designated tender box labelled, "Design/Build Contractor for Building and Civil Infrastructure Works for Sheckles Housing Development - Phase 2, Clarendon", located in the Procurement Unit on or before 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019.

Public opening of the bids will follow immediately after the bid submission deadline in the Procurement & Stores Meeting Room located on the Ground Floor at the National Housing Trust Head Off
