Tender Details

Expression of Interest are invited for Design and Supervision of Flyover Bridge at Pipeline-Tanke Junction, Ilorin.

As part of efforts of the Kwara State Government towards improving the well-being of the people of the State especially in the area of provision of road infrastructure that will not only cater for the present traffic need but also anticipated future traffic challenges, the Ministry intends to embark on the construction of Flyover Bridge at Pipeline- Tanke Junction, Ilorin.

Interested consulting firms are invited to submit Expression of Interest for the service.

SCOPE OF WORK

(i) Design

(ii) Supervision

REQUIREMENTS

Interested firms must submit a comprehensive Company Profile to include the following;

(i) Evidence of Certificate of in Corporation with Corporate Affairs Commission;

(ii) Evidence of Registration with Kwara State Public Procurement Agency;

(iii) Evidence of Company Incomes- Tax Clearance for the last three years 2018, 2019, and 2020;

(iv) Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2020;

(v) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2020

(vi) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2020;

(vii) Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years 2018, 2019 and 2020;

(viii) Evidence of Financial Capability to execute the project by submission of reference letter from a reputable commercial Bank in Nigeria;

(ix) Company-s profile with curriculum vitae of key staff including evidence of their academic and professional qualifications.

(x) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including letters of Award, Valuation Certificate, Job Completion Certificates etc.

SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST DOCUMENTS

Interested Consultancy Firms/Companies are to submit three (3) copies of Expression of Interest (EOI) documents. The document should be submitted in sealed envelope and addressed to:

Furthermore, the envelope should be clearly marked (with name of the project) and the reverse of each sealed envelopes should bear the name of the firm/company and they should be dropped in the designated Tender Box located at the Tender Secretary-s office, Ministry of works, Ilorin not later than 12noon on Tuesday, 27 July 2021.

OPENING OF EOI

The EOI documents will be opened immediately upon the expiration of the deadline for the submission at 12noon of Tuesday 27 July, 2021 in the Conference Room of the Ministry.

Please note that the Ministry will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted EOI documents

GENERAL INFORMATION

(a) Bids must be in English language and signed by an official authorized by the bidder;

(b) Bids submitted after deadline for submission would be returned un-opened;

(c) Bid documents can also be collected in soft copies and the bidders can submit through post (Courier Services)

(d) Only pre-qualified bidders will be invited at a later date for financial bid stage;

(e) Successful Consulting firm will be required to present original copies of their pre-qualification documents before award;

( f) Nothing in this advertisement shall be considered a commitment on the part of Kwara State Ministry of Works nor shall it entitle the responding companies to seek any indemnity from Kwara state Ministry of Works by virtue of contractors/consulting firms having responded to the advertisement;

(g) The Kwara State Ministry of Works is not bound to pre-qualify any bidder and it reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring any liability in accordance with section 38 of the Kwara State Public Procurement Law, 2018 as amended.
