Expression of Interest are invited for The Design and Delivery of Training Course/S - Basra Investment Promotion Agency (BIC).
The Basra Investment Policy and Promotion Project seeks the expertise of a Trainer/Consultant Firm specialized in designing/developing/customizing and delivering training programs for the Basra Investment Promotion Agency (BIC) on selected topics for the identified target audience.
The requested training programs will bring together about 20-30 Iraqi trainees (10 managers and 20 staff covering various front office roles) from Al Basra. The trainees mostly hold graduate degrees and each has over 4 years of professional work experience in the Agency. Their age ranges from 4 to 20 years.
BIC and the project team have identified a number of training topics that aim at enhancing the knowledge and skills of the client facing staff with the objective of building and re-enforcing a productive and collaborative team environment, enhancing verbal and written communications skills (inward and outward), building a client centric agency, and enhancing their computer productivity skills.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

NOTES
Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification. No debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
Qualification Criteria
· 1. Provide information showing that they are qualified in the field of the assignment.
· 2. Provide information on the technical and managerial capabilities of the firm.
· 3. Provide information on their core business and years in business.
· 4. Provide information on the qualifications of key staff.
