Description : The Office for Technology hosts a number of servers as well as services with Cisco software that enables agencies to communicate and collaborate across government. These services and infrastructure are used by many SA Government agencies including emergency services such as Health and SAPOL, Courts and Prisons to name a few of the major agencies. They have heavily invested in the Cisco The infrastructure and software requires a Cisco Support License which is volume based to support the entire video conferencing and collaboration environment. It includes the provision of critical software updates, software upgrades and the ability to engage Cisco Technical Advisors for incident/problem resolution.The license subscription will also cover support for cloud-based services and solutions and will future proof the software in terms of patching and upgrades from Cloud Services and provides a reasonable lifecycle of services offered.It is intended to appoint a sole provider to for the provision of Core Communications Infrastructure Support License Subscription. The Enterprise License Agreement would be for three years for up to 1300 knowledge workers.
