5164Ce: Fire Alarm & Detection Systems - Installation and Repair 5164D: Fire Alarm System Maintenance (Building Related) Bid Information Project Description: Ansgar Villa is a 174-Unit Three Story Seniors Lodge Facility Owned by Alberta Social Housing Corporation and Operated by Gef Seniors Housing. This Building Was Constructed in 1985 and is Located at 10170-120 Street Edmonton, Alberta. the Building Fire Alarm System Requires Modernizing and Upgrading to Improve the Safety for the Residents that Live There. Gef Seniors Housing, Working on Behalf of Ashc, is Soliciting for a General Fire Alarm Contractor to Execute a Design-Build Fire Alarm Upgrade in This Building. the Intention for This Project is to Supply a Complete Turn-Key, Current Code Compliant, Monitored Fire Alarm System to Improve the Safety of the Building. Pre-Bid Meeting: a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be Held on November 26, 2018, 1:00 P.M. Mst at Ansgar Villa, 10170 - 120 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. Bid Security: Bid Bond .1 Bid Bonds Shall be in Accordance with the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (Ccdc) Standard Form of Bid Bond, Ccdc Document No. 220. .2 Consign Bid Bonds to Alberta Social Housing Corporation. .3 Bid Bonds Shall be Issued by a Duly Incorporated Surety Company Authorized to Transact Business of Suretyship in the Province of Alberta. .4 Bid Bonds Shall be Properly Executed by Both Bidder and Surety. .5 Bid Bonds Shall be in the Amount of 10% of the Contract Price. .6 Submit Bid Security with Bid Form. Bids Not Accompanied by Bid Security will be Rejected. Performance Bond .1 the Contractor Shall Provide Security for Performance of the Contract in the Form of a Performance Bond for 50% of the Contract Price. .2 Bond Shall be in Accordance with the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (Ccdc) Standard Form of Performance Bond, Ccdc Document No. 221. .3 Bond Shall be Issued by a Duly Incorporated Surety Company Authorized to Transact Business of Suretyship in the Province of Alberta. .4 Consign Bond to Alberta Social Housing Corporation .5 Submit Bond to Ashc Within 15 Days After Date of Issuance of Letter of Acceptance of Bid.
