This bidding process is for the commissioning of domestic and bulk waste collection services, and for the cleaning of commonof all areas of the territory of the Municipality. It is an update of the Office`s study of ISP19 / 2019 and has included the amendments and additions made to the decision of the Municipal Council of Hersonissos at No. 342/2019 (Board of Directors: H7OTHIM-HDY) at its meeting of 29.11. 2019.

Main Site: In all Municipalities of Hersonissos MunicipalityThe bidding procedure refers to the performance of collection services for domestic and bulk waste, and the cleaning of communal areas in all areas of the municipality. The amendments and additions that have been taken into account in the decision of the Municipal Council of Hersonissos, No. 342/2019 (appointing authority: O7OTHIM-EYD). During the period covered, of the above category of waste are executed by a private contractor, under contract No. 39 / 4.1.2016 (Certificate: 63E3HM-IP) contract, the original duration of which was extended by a decision of the Municipal Council, by one additional year, by 3.3.2020, and consequently, the new contract to be drawn up should provide for the date of commencement of the subsequent work.

For the preparation of the study, following collaboration and exchange of views with the Municipal Authority, and taking into account the experience gained, the following general guidelines have been followed and costed accordingly:

1) for the execution of the tasks described, the contractor shall dispose of the necessary machinery and accessories entirely, withoutthe Municipality to grant its own resources, personnel or any material, and without any involvement in their performance, solely supervising and monitoring the relevant contract. the category of pollutants emitted in the context of the Municipality`s efforts to reduce the environmental burdenthe means used to carry out the tasks. In particular, the majority of the means of daily contact with citizens, such as garbage trucks, sweepers, etc., are foreseen to meet Euro VI (6) pollutants.

3) The contractor will make available needs of the contract accessory equipment, which will remain and remain in its possession afterlet her, if she so desires. This specification applies to the equipment for street sweepers (trolleys and their accessories). The Municipality will compensate the contractor for only part of the value of this equipment as new and the contractor will be responsible for its proper operation throughout the term of the contract. extension of up to one year, e

5) The mechanical equipment provided by the contractor will be reserved to the Municipality of Hersonissos throughout the contract period, even when not temporarily used for a period of time.

6) The contractor will work full time and exclusively for the needs of the contract. The basis on which the analyzes were based, whichincluded in the present study, is the division of work into four (4) time periods during the year. This takes into account the sharp fluctuations in the waste collection requirements and the cleanliness of the common areas due to tourism. For each period, all required work is analyzed, in the context of a general preliteracy, which will be specialized in weekly work programs during the contract. For each period, job requirements and facilities are analyzed, and provision is made for cases where actual job volume data deviates from projected due to uncertain factors that may be involved, given the natureof the object. In the context of the above, a backup trash can and flexible emergency service are provided.
