NHSGG&C Rental of Pressure Redistribution Beds and Mattresses

Reference Number : GGC0600

NHSGG&C have a requirement for the rental of pressure redistribution beds and mattresses to deal with up to Grade 4 pressure damage and complex wounds.

Main Site : All sites within NHSGG&C.

NHSGG&C has a requirement to provide patients with pressure redistribution bed and mattresses as part of their treatment. Therefore we are seeking to enter into a contract with a single supplier who can provide these products for both short and long term periods of hire.

The following products are included, but not exhaustive:

— Bariatric Bed Frame with Foam Mattress (Minimum Patient Weight Capacity 250 kg),

— Bariatric Mattress Replacement System with Turn Assist functionality,

— Adult Electric Bed Frames with Foam Mattress capable of low minimum height,

— Spinal Bed with Foam Mattress must provide Lateral Rotation functionality,

— Alternating Pressure Mattress Replacement System (High Risk),

— Lateral Rotational Therapy Mattress,

— Air Fluidised Therapy (Bed Replacement System),

— Paediatric Continuous Low Pressure Mattress Replacement System.

Tenderers must complete the ESPD European Single Procurement Document via the PCST, Public Contracts Scotland Tender portal link.

With reference to ESPD Question 4A.2.1, tenderers are required to confirm that all those providing beds/mattresses to NHS GG&C will have been certified by Disclosure Scotland Enhanced Level prior to the commencement of the contract.

With reference to ESPD Question 4A.2.1, tenderers are required to confirm that suppliers have or can commit to ISO9001 prior to the commencement of the contract.

With reference to ESPD Question 4A.2.1, tenderers are required to confirm that suppliers have or can commit to ISO14001 prior to the commencement of the contract.

With reference to ESPD Question 4B.6 — NHS GG&C will use its financial evaluation matrix which can be uploaded from the attachments area on PCST to assess the financial stability of tenderers. Tenderers should complete the evaluation matrix spread sheet included in the tender documents and confirm they meet the minimum requirement score. Tenderers with a score of 50 and above will be deemed to have evidenced satisfactory financial stability. Tenderers should be able to provide financial accounts when requested by NHS GG&C.

The tenderer must agree and evidence compliance of all products with Medical and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) which are CE marked.
