Non-Emergency Patient Transport for F0rde Health Trust

Reference Number : 2019/1608

Non-emergency patient transport.

The contracting authority would like tenders for non-emergency patient transport for F0rde Health Trust. The objective of the contracts is to cover Helse F0rde`s need for contracts for patient transport in non-emergency situations. The health companies in Norway are not only responsible for transporting patients in the specialist health service, but also in the primary health service. This means that the contract not only comprises transport of patients to hospitals, but also to GPs, physiotherapists, etc. with issued requisition.

The contracting authority intends to facilitate increased coordination at the same time that quality and practical considerations are maintained. Coordination is defined as all the measures that are implemented to reduced the number of transport assignments as well as the total cost per transport assignment. The contracting authority has the right to coordinate patient transport across municipal borders and tender areas.
