Performance guarantee

A performance guarantee is required for signing the contract, in accordance withArticle 72 (1) (b) of Law 4412/2016, amounting to 5% of the value of each section of the contract, excluding VAT, and deposited before or at the time of signing the contract., in order to be accepted, it must include as a minimum the elements mentioned in paragraph 2.1.5) and, in addition, the number and title of the relevant contractpursuant to Article 72 (4) of Law 4412/2016. Its content shall be in accordance with the model set out in Annex VIII. of the Declaration and the provisions of Article 72 of Law 4412/2016. The performance guarantee for the contract covers in total and non-discriminatory terms the application of all the terms of the contract and any claim of the contracting authority vis---vis the contractor, if the contract is changed in accordance with paragraph 4.5), which entails an increase in the contract value, the Contractor shall be obliged to deposit before the amendment an additional guarantee amounting to 5% of the amount of the increase, excluding VAT.

The performance guarantee shall be forfeited in the event of infringement of theof the contract, as it specifies in particular.

The performance guarantee shall be reimbursed in its entirety after the definitive quantitative and qualitative reception of the object of the contract. If the final qualitative and quantitative receipt protocol contains observations or there is a delayed delivery, the return of the above guarantees is made after the observations and delays have been dealt with.

The pupil's transportation costs of this Call are charged to the COPs. of the Regional Districts of the Region of the Ionian Islands, for which they are subsidized, within the boundaries of which the schools in which the pupils are transferred.

The period from the date of submission of the supporting documents to the payment of the relevant costs depends on from tthe time and the frequency and the amount with which the Region is subsidized for this purpose each time.
