MuVe Multimodal Traffic Management of the City of Dresden AP 4b Software Development of an Application on Mobile Devices

The aim is to provide a modular, extensible application, which provides the driver with all necessary technical and operational information easily accessibleand in real time.

Much of the operational information on the operation of the service is based on the use of printed paper documents. In order to obtain the relevant information, the driver is dependent on various sources and sources of information. In view of the ever-increasing demands on the quality of the service OePNV unDue to the large amount of relevant information, the medium of paper is increasingly approaching its performance limits. Therefore, DVB AG plans to ensure the consistent provision of information to the driving personnel and thus to the customers the mobile provision of documents and media required by the driver for operational reasons. For this purpose, all employees of the driving service with a tablet PC (Hseparate award procedure) including a car service app. This should simultaneously optimize the communication with the employees and the work processes linked to them. In order to supplement the driving service app in perspective by further functions, the application must be modular.

To do this, all the functions necessary to provide the driver with the information for the driving service must be available on the devices provide, stand by. These include:

The following interfaces to the existing systems of DVB AG are required:

The application must be set up in such a way that next to the networked and (partly) automated use always also a manual use is possible there if necessary on the part of the AG systemic or temporal restrictions

Furthermore, software maintenance services have to be provided over a period of 10 years.
