Adults Learning Disabilities Supported Living Scheme at Homer and Wick Roads

Hackney Council is retendering it's adults services for learning disabilities the supported living schemes at homer and wick roads. The service will promote access to more independent living arrangements and help reduce the number of people requiring high cost residential placements.
The London Borough of Hackney (the Council) is inviting tenders from suitably experienced and qualified providers for the provision of learning disabilities/supported living schemes at homer and wick roads in accordance with the service specification.
This procurement is for social care services and as such falls under the "Light Touch Regime" described in Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) ("Regulations"). Accordingly the Council is only bound by those parts of the regulations referred to therein and, to the extent that it follows any other part of the regulations, it does so entirely voluntarily.
One contract will awarded to the successful bidder and it is anticipated that the contract will be fully operational by the end of November/early December and will continue for a period of 5 years, with an option to extend for up to 2 years (on a 1+1 year basis) unless terminated in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
