Brief description of measures:

The University of Cologne (UzK) plans to renovate building 101 of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at Universitaetsstrasse 24 in 50931 Koeln.

The building is currently not more reliable without restrictions. Operation is only guaranteed by means of compensation measures. ToRestoration of operational security is to be carried out (core) renovation of building 101, consisting of component 1 (high-rise building) and component 2 (flat wing), subject to the protection of historical monuments.

If necessary, parts of the structural and technical systems that have already been renewed have been or are under monument protection, currently being used, the renovation work is plannedrst to be carried out in 2 construction phases (1st high-rise building, 2nd flat wing).

In the 1st construction phase, the high-rise building will be renovated from the 2nd basement to the 8th floor and Hoersaal 1. Subsequently, the second construction phase of the flat wing with the Hoersaelen 23-25, PC-Pool-1, boardroom as well as various office rooms and the 3 seminar rooms on the ground floor will be renovated.

Due to the close integration of the two construction phases in the area of the teThere are areas in the building services in which work must be carried out in both the 1st and 2nd construction phases. The supply corridors "Rohrgraeben" running underneath the basement, as well as large areas in the basement - here especially the traffic routes - belong to this category. Work is carried out here in both the 1st and 2nd construction phaset. Furthermore, the corridor area on the 1st basement is needed for the material delivery for the installation work in the technical centers and installation aisles. Here, compliance with dhe deadlines and costs as well as the requirements of the monument protection must be observed.

The technical standards (Department 5 - Buildings and Real Estate Management, created in May 2014 and revised in December

2017) must be observed as the basis for planning and implementation.
