108-BYM-2018 Operation and Maintenance Services of the Road Network in the Oslo West Region

Bymilj0etaten [the Agency for Urban Environment] is responsible for planning, development, management and operation of municipal urban spaces in Oslo. The urban spaces include common areas such as roads and streets, squares, meeting places, parks and recreational areas. The Agency for Urban Environment must ensure inviting urban spaces with good cleaning and waste management, planting in parks, lighting, maintenance of streets, roads, hiking paths and bridges. The objective of the procurement of operation and maintenance to safeguard the infrastructure and previous investments and maintain the standard of the road network. The procurement will safeguard the implementation of services and activities that are necessary for the road network so that the traffic can arrive in a safe and efficient manner. The procurement will contribute to Oslo being an active, green, safe and beautiful town for the residents and visitors.

This procurement must cover the ongoing need for operation and maintenance of roads, pavements, stairs, foot and cycle paths and prioritised road networks in the area of Oslo West. The need comprises i.a. emptying of drains, patching of asphalt holes, cleaning and sweeping, snow clearing, removal of snow, gritting and waste emptying at stops, cutting of vegetation at edge and mowing on median strips. The districts included in the contract are Nordre Aker, Vestre Aker and Ullern.

Requirement: tenderers must be a legally established company.

Documentation requirement:

Norwegian tenderers: company registration certificate.

Foreign companies: verification that the company is registered in a trade index or a register of business enterprises as prescribed by the law of the country where the company is established.

Documentation requirement:

Credit evaluation/rating, not older than 6 months, and based on the last known fiscal figures. The rating must be carried out by a publicly approved credit rating institution.

The contracting authority reserves the right to obtain a separate credit evaluation if necessary.
