A research Project on Competence Mapping, Carrier Guidance and Accurate Settlement

The overall goal for the R&D assignment is to gain knowledge about what is necessary to get more refugees quickly in work where they can utilise their skills. The assignment will take a detailed look at tools for:

The secondary goals for the assignment are:

1) To gain knowledge about the extent to which competence mapping in reception centres contributes to faster start-up of targeted qualification;

2) To gain knowledge about the municipalities' need for competence information in order for them to be able to build on previous mapping and use IMDi's tools in their own mapping work. And so be able to plan for earlier and more targeted commencement in the introduction programme for the individual refugee;

3) To gain knowledge about the extent to which the municipalities' competence mapping and carrier guidance for transfer refugees and family reunions are of significance for quicker start-up in targeted qualification.
