A requirement-oriented connection between asphalt layers and layers is a thinga prerequisite for a long service life of pavement pavements made of asphalt. The bond is u. a. achieved by the uniform and vollflaechige Anspruehen the pad with a bitumen emulsion. The applied bitumen emulsion must be broken according to the technical regulations before installation of the rolled asphalt layer and the emulsion water must be evaporated. The claimsThe risk of soiling and detachment or running off of the binder in stressed areas is a problem before overbuilding. The lack of bonding can be particularly concentrated on the areas of the rolling tracks. A method to reduce these unfavorable influences on the layer composite is the use of a road paver with integrated spraying device (Sprebuilder) used in DSH-V construction according to ZTV BEA-StB. When using asphalt pavers with integrated spraying device, however, it must be ensured that this does not have any damaging effects such as B. bubble formations to be incorporated in the rolling asphalts. Under what conditions a water vapor possibly forming from emulsion water escapesI can or must even escaping at thicker to be built asphalt layers at all, is not known. It is also unclear whether and to what extent residual water of an incompletely broken bitumen emulsion has an adverse effect on the compaction of the new, conventional asphalt layer and thus on the layer composite.
The aim of the research project is to establish criteria for the use of a-Asphalt paver with integrated spraying device for construction according to ZTV Asphalt-StB or on scratched surface.
