"Updating the procedures for the assessmentThe quality of traffic at intersections with LSA "With the introduction and increasing application of the HBS 2015 in research and practice open questions emerge.In addition to requirements for calculation methods, there are also questions on alternative approaches (usually microscopic traffic flow simulation), which are answered in empirical and simulation terms Require investigationsan updating of the adjustment factors for the determination of the time requirement value as well as the examination of possible further influencing variables. A review / adaptation of the HBS-procedure for conditionally routed guided turntable with regard to the occupancy time of a ford by pedestrians / cyclists is necessary. For the calculation methods for short positioning strips are approaches eIt is necessary to be able to extend and adapt the scope of application so that the capacity and waiting time of the entire lane constellation can be determined taking account of the conditionally reversible lane congestion. Because of the wide range of evaluation results from traffic flow simulations, resulting from a variety of adjustment possibilitiesand calibration parameters and the lack of standard solutions in planning practice, the derivation of standard simulation elements and parameters for an HBS-compliant simulation is necessary. There are no guidelines for the consideration of instationarities in microsimulation. To assess the traffic quality of traffic-dependent controlled LSA (as well as fixed-time controls) serves the mean waiting time for motor vehicles and the maximum waiting time for pedestrians / cyclists. Statements on the quality and potential for improvement of the control methods / algorithms of traffic-dependent controlled LSA are therefore only conditionally possible. Goals are the further development and completion of the calculation methods for assessing the traffic quality at junctions with LSA as well as diDerivation of simulation elements and parameters for an HBS-compliant evaluation.
