Research Project about Refugees' Association with the Labour Market Over Time

Reference Number : 18-05600

The paramount objective of the project is to contribute to more knowledge about how a large number of immigrants with a refugee background, and family reunited with them, can maintain an enduring association with working life.

The paramount objective of the project is to contribute to more knowledge about how a large number of immigrants with a refugee background, and family reunited with them, can maintain an enduring association with working life.

To achieve this, Integrerings og mangfoldsdirektoratet (IMDi) (the Directorate for Integration and Diversity) and Arbeids og velferdsdirektoratet (AVdir) (the Directorate of Labour and Welfare) believe that there is a need for a qualitatively oriented study that:

— investigates causes of drop-out from working life and barriers against enduring association,

— increase understanding of various mechanisms that apply in this group's association to working life over time,

— describe mechanisms that apply on a group level and not only an individual level,

— highlight the problems from the group's perspective,

— highlight the problems from an employer perspective.

Tenderers must be registered in a company register, professional register or a trade register in the state where the tenderer is established.
