Forskningsradet [the Research Council of Norway] c/o the department of HAV. Area of resource industries and environment, extends an invitation to a competition for the review of knowledge bases for new aquaculture species.

The Research Council of Norway wants the best possible knowledge base about the possibilities and challenges for the production of species other than salmon and rainbow trout, and then particular challenges where the authorities have/may have a role. The review must include potential organisms for production in Norway, the biological knowledge base and opportunities and challenges in production, environment, economy and market.

Attached is a list of factors that must be assessed in the report. The tender offer must include a plan for how to implement the assignment in line with this. The plan must include 2 meetings with a reference group and proposal for dialogue with the Research Council of Norway during the work.
