Northumberland College — Provision of Waste Management Services

Northumberland College intends to enter into a contractual relationship with one Service Provider that can actively assist and support the College in meeting its current and future objectives in relation to Waste Management and Recycling.

Main Site : Manchester.

The Service Provider is required to submit an innovative solution that delivers the outcomes defined in the specification. The key deliverables of the contract are:

— to deliver the current services within the specification safely, effectively and efficiently,

— to drive performance, innovation and reporting on the contract,

— to work with the College to reduce and minimise waste to Landfill with a target of zero waste to landfill,

— to identify and operate the most cost effective method of collection,

— to work with the College to improve recycling at each of its sites; actively recommending practical solutions, to include changes to internal waste streaming, that will lead to an increase in recyclable waste percentages.
