The transport association TUTicket co-ordinates the county-wide public transport tariff by bus and train. In addition to 27 bus services, TUTicket offers its citizens the "RINGZUG", a S-Bahn-like rail system that operates in the rural area in Germanland is unique. With the project "integrated OePNV Tuttlingen 2020" the technical equipment of the vehicles (on-board computer / ticket printer) and the central systems for the bus traffic is to be procured for the entire district of Tuttlingen, in order to provide on the basis of reliable real-time data the functions connection security, passenger information, ticket sales and E-ticketing toorealize. The district of Tuttlingen is set up as a client in the itcs IVU.fleet and the sales background system IVU.fair, which the district of Constance has procured. The aim is the optimal use of synergies and consequently a cost optimization.
