The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Region West (`Contracting Authority`) invites tenderers a competition for the establishment, operation and maintenance of day and night resting places for heavy transport along Rv15 between the stretch Stryn and Oppstryn. The day and night resting places must contain a service building with bathroom/laundry facilities.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Region West (`Contracting Authority`) invites tenderers a competition for the establishment, operation and maintenance of day and night resting places for heavy transport along Rv15 between the stretch Stryn and Oppstryn. The day and night resting places must contain a service building with bathroom/laundry facilities.
The objective of the procurement:
The aim of the procurement is to develop a better offer for heavy transport drivers who must have normal 24 hour rest, reduced weekly rest (maximum 45 hours) and take breaks (45 minutes) that comply with rules and provisions on driving and rest time. The rest and driving periods mean that drivers who drive heavy vehicles must take breaks and sufficient rest so that they can have a normal sleep period. Rested drivers are important for traffic safety. For further information see the Norwegian Publci Roads Administration`s V136 `D0gnhvileplasser for tungtransporten`.
The tenderer must have disposal of the ground.
Tenderers must have their tax, employer`s National Insurance contributions and value-added tax payments in order.
Tenderers must have sufficient economic capacity to implement the contract.
